Ten Days To June And Oh Mommy

Elections 2024 and tensions are rising faster than a flash flood of bad feelings. Republicans are howling foul already. Democrats are wishy washing their way to ignominy for "standing by their man" and that would be Joe Biden. So with ten days to June and five months and five days to Election Day 2024, well, tempers will boil over sooner than later. I think that presidential elections, along with state and local elections, are NOT supposed to work like elections seem to be working of late. Anger, threats, accusations, more treason, even more bloviating by "pundits", and regular America is trapped in the middle of this seemingly endless stream of insulting bullshit. Biden stands in defense of Israeli war crimes and crimes against Palestinian humanity. Biden decries the work of the International Court of Justice. Trump, the apparent nominee of the Republicans, is mired in more dang criminal complaints than one can shake a stick at and yet trump is their go-to guy. Disgraceful. However, one should consider Republican Dick Nixon AND the war criminal George W. Bush. Disgraceful. So the partisans are lashing out blindly in the electoral fears of defeat and comprehensively ignoring the American electoral process. Popular vote is more than meaningless. The Electoral College elects America's Presidents and that's how the process is outlined in our Constitution. The popular vote only matters at the state level with state legislatures electing Electoral Delegates that cast votes for President. The entire affair is an antiquated and wholly complicated rigamarole that needs to be addressed in a Constitutional Convention with America's presidential process brought forward to work in our twenty first century. I seriously doubt that's going to happen. So sit back and watch this chaotic carnival of political terror grow exponentially worse as November creeps closer and closer. It might be wise to simply duck and stay the hell out of the way of all the internecine warfare. Now for Tuesday machine art.

I had a run in with a partisan on social media. nothing new about that. however this partisan figured it wise to defend Hillary Clinton and her losing the election 2016. Clinton won the popular vote as did Al Gore back in 2000. We all know how that bullshit turned out. the popular vote does not always elect a President. 😐
