Unbelievable and yes, snow in May. Might sound unusual if you consider the weather of late. Not so unusual when you take a gander at weather patterns over say the last 100 years or so. You see the Northern Hemisphere is still in spring and snow happens in spring. Interstate 80 was closed over the Sierras and US 50 was closed also from the Sierras down. Utah ski resorts reopening as it snowed enough along the Wasatch Front high country to get them dang skiers back up on the slopes and dropping serious chunks of change at the resorts. Nothing makes the ski resort owner/operators happy as greased clams as does a late spring blizzard that allows for the return of the skiers. After all, money makes our world go round and therefore you can break into a song and dance routine directly from the hit Broadway play and subsequent movie 'Cabaret'. Money money ... money ... Anyway and now for the Monday machine art segment of today's program.

my wife has a sister that lives in the Salt Lake Valley and the Sunday afternoon phone call with the wife's sis ensues, sis said it was 27 degrees and that would be Fahrenheit and it was a rain/snow mix and it sort of sucked. go figure ... 😏
