Today is Wednesday September 20, 2023 and September is two thirds over. Time does really fly by when we're having fun. Life in twenty first century America is one dang laugh riot after another. NFL football is underway, NHL hockey will be underway soon, NBA will do a brief preseason, and of course MLB will crank up their run to the World Series almost before you can say "let Pete Rose into the Baseball Hall of Fame." Charlie Hustle SHOULD BE IN THE HALL OF FAME!!! I had the privilege of watching Mr. Rose play baseball and take it from me, Petey was good. Rose won three batting titles, one league MVP, a World Series MVP, and of course a World Series title. That might be two World Series titles. One title with the Cincy Reds and one title with the Phillies. Mr. Rose earned the right to be in baseball's Hall of Fame. Asshole Giamatti dictated that Rose was "ineligible" for HoF induction and that dictum has never been lifted. Goddamn insulting I think. That nasty cock up turned my fandom for baseball into a strong dislike for America's game. Baseball was America's game long before football. Oh well and so it goes. Now for Humpday machine art.

MLB has had any number of scandals involving the players. Drugs, domestic violence, gambling, and prolific egotism. Turns out all of that is mere mistakes and all is forgiven. Pete's gambling? A damnable offense and Mr. Rose is still on the outs with MLB. I think that is some straight up bullshit. ðŸ˜
