Burning Man Mud Cakes

On Friday September 1, 2023 our much belated monsoon season decided to make an appearance and holy crap-oh-rama did it ever. Thunder bolts and lightning, which scare the bejeepers out of our dog, torrential rains of an almost unrelenting pounding, and it wasn't just the Mojave Desert that got dumped on, oh no, it rained all over the State of Nevada, State of Arizona, State of Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, the northwest slice of the Blackrock Desert and the "Burning Man Fest and Desert Desecration Rape Oh-Rama." The Blackrock Desert is in Nevada and that would be northwest Nevada. The Burning Man is held just about every Labor Day weekend and has been for a while now. Anyway, old hippies, California stoners, freaks of every size, shape, persuasion, and stench gather to burn a "man" in effigy. I'm not certain what the point of that might be and I don't really care. About the only thing that matters to me is the concerns I have about how the ignorant morons disrespect the desert. Anyway once again, the monsoon hit the Blackrock Desert and our Blessed Mother Earth dumped copious amounts of rain on the dumb asses and turned the Burning Man fest into a mud hole of sizable measure. The Burning Man attendees have been instructed by the Pershing County Sheriff, Washoe County Sheriff, AND Bureau of Land Management to "shelter in place" with the reasoning being, the mud is thick and sticky and cloying and there is no longer any promises that these idiots can be provided for. Ahhh dang, don't you just hate it when that happens. The desert rape festivities getting rudely rained on and ruined was an absolute delight. Well, for myself anyway. Why these fools want to tear up a perfectly peaceful, serene, and beautiful stretch of pristine desert is beyond me. Turns out they're all wet and coated in Blackrock Desert mud. I'm delighted as delighted can be. Now for our Sabbath Day machine art. Ummm...I don't think mud will burn.

the "festival" getting monsooned out of holiday attendance, well, it becomes perfectly acceptable to call that KARMA! also, it's good for a healthy laugh...😂
