Celebrity As Lucky Charm

Sorry Lucky, you've been dethroned. Lucky would be the leprechaun that adorns a children's cereal box. Now we'll hit the 411 so as to provide some clarity to today's screed. Evidently a Kansas City Chiefs football player by name of Travis Kelce is dating a social phenomenon name of Taylor Swift. Swift would be a pop star that has simply hordes of swooning fainting dead away 'Swifties'. 'Swifties' is how Taylor's fans are referred to. Swift commands legions of fans all around the world and those fans are starstruck if not a bit confused as to where, exactly, their loyalties should be placed. Anyway and so, the Kansas City Chiefs played a football game on Sunday and those Kansas City Chiefs played to plant an ass-whooping on the Chicago Bears with Taylor Swift in attendance and Swift is alleged to have "inspired" the aforementioned Chiefs and Travis Kelce to unmercifully disrespect the Bears and win this Sunday football game. Kelce is "allegedly" dating Taylor Swift. Or that just might be the other way around. You know, Swift dating a football player name of Travis Kelce. The actual bottomline here would be...who cares? A football game is hardly relevant to events happening right this very moment anywhere around our woefully under siege Planet Earth. Taylor Swift is probably not the messiah. Probably. Travis Kelce might be a football MVP that is IF he can remain healthy for an entire NFL playing season. I'm not certain that Swift is feeding starving Africans. I'm not certain that Swift is sending arms to Ukraine to assist in the Ukraine war defense against Russia. I'm not certain that very much at all is relevant to Swift/Kelce pending nuptials. OR the other way around. Doesn't matter however, the Kansas City Chiefs DID put an unmerciful pounding on the Chicago Bears and Swift was in attendance to watch the game so...draw your own conclusions. Or not. Now for Monday machine art and I suppose we'll all get to see how this now very public dating ritual plays itself out. I wonder if Kelce/Swift receive date coaching from Andy Reid? it was one of those play-by-play guys that made mention of Swift being a "lucky charm" for Kelce and the Chiefs. the play-by-play guys are more than a bit annoying and ovbiously, sorely lacking in the ability to think on ones feet. 😏
