If It's Tuesday You Can Lick Those Wounds

 NCAA basketball is over for 2021. Mens and Womens Finals are done is done and the winners are...Stanford Cardinals on the womens side and Baylor Bears on the mens side. The women's final was actual basketball the way basketball is supposed to be played. Close all the way to the final buzzer. Stanford won their title the old fashioned way by exactly one point. Baylor on the other hand kicked Gonzaga's collegiate ass up one side of the court and back down the other side of the basketball court. Not even close. The 'Zags' shouldn't have been listening to all the pre-game hype. You see Gonzaga was "supposed" to win before the game had been played and golly, was that a mistake. Baylor evidently wasn't listening to all the 'Gonzaga' bullshit and so Baylor Bears are the national champs and the Gonzaga Bulldogs are the national chumps. Wasn't even close. Oh well, maybe next year eh? On a totally unrelated note, the cop trial of the century over the murder of George Floyd and the Minneapolis Police Chief took the stand to testify that the Chauvin former cop was "not following Minneapolis Police procedure" while kneeling on Floyd's neck for 9 minutes. Gosh, ya think? There is so much cell phone video of Floyd's death shown at the trial, proving that Minneapolis cop innocent could be problematic. Police brutality is nothing new in this here Amerika. Remember the Rodney King beatdown in L.A.? That was way back in the day so folks thought that police brutality would certainly be brought to an end. Wrong on all counts. Police brutality is a mere symptom of the root cause of police beatdowns/murders. Institutional racism IS the norm for law enforcement in Amerika. It's not a very pretty picture when Amerika is forced to look at murder by cop square in the face. That cop trial is supposed to last about a month. Gosh, what will Amerika have to watch then? I know...Aaron Rogers hosting Jeopardy. I watched Rogers hosting Jeopardy and I thought he did a damn fine job. Ken Jennings is still my hope for the Jeopardy hosting gig but Rogers was better than I expected. Katie Couric did a fine job too. Dr. Oz sucked and he sucked large as a Jeopardy guest host. But then I'm not a fan of 'Dr. Oz' and I'm of the opinion that the Oz guy is an asshole. So's Dr. Phil but that's not the point of today's tirade. Machine art is the point and will always be the point. So for today...
