A Day Of Rest

 Yes it's Sunday that ever so blessed 'day of rest' for some. Not everyone mind you, just some. Some folk don't get a day of rest and it really doesn't matter what religion says about it. Religion is more fantasy than it is anything other than that. Fantastic stories, fantastic rules, fantastic beliefs, and more simply fantastic expectations. Yes today is Sunday and so what. Jews and I believe Muslims find Saturday to be the day of rest. I'm not a theologian so I could be wrong here by about a day. I really don't care. Buddhists are open to Uposatha as a day of rest but not all Buddhists. Sikhs don't hold any particular day as sacred, all days are sacred. I missed any numbers of religions but hopefully you can catch my drift. The point being that in white anglo-saxon Amerika, Sunday is the day. Of course there is that glaring exception that applies to mass shooters. Any day is a restful day to load up them dang firearms and go out a shootin' to kill. Oh yes and 'white anglo-saxon' Amerika is how the neo- fascist and neo-nazi white supremacists are branding themselves these days. Just ask that crazy bitch Marjorie Taylor Greene about 'white anglo-saxon' political traditions. The bitch is literally bat-shit insane and she's a member of Congress. You see the Greene bitch thinks Mein Kampf is holy writ. Greene needs to take a big dose of Thorazine directly in her neck. You know, fired from one of those spiffy keen tranquilizer guns. SWACK! A tranquilizer gun is not your usual fire arm so it's okay to advocate the freakish cow get shot with one. Yeah that's a "bad" suggestion and I admit that straight up. So much violence in the old Amerika these days. But hey, take out one of the loonies and it's a good start. Oh shit, I've digressed in a totally 'other' direction. Day of rest, yeah...the dreams of bloody damn lunatics hell-bent on shooting up wherever it is they think they can make a kill are out of control. The fuckers are shooting innocent people just about anywhere and this bullshit needs to stop. Like about years ago. We can't expect Congress to do squat about the gun violence epidemic. I use the epidemic phraseology as all the gun violence is mostly confined to the U.S. of A. and damn aren't we about the luckiest people on the Planet. Or maybe not. Congress has been pressured for years to do something about the gun violence and the Congress hasn't. I'm guessing that the gun violence is a really sick obsession for the Congress. Evidently the assholes must like seeing Amerikans gunned down in multiple numbers as the Congress seems unwilling to do more than pontificate on the issue. The suggestion I made about what's her name Greene getting a big shot of Thorazine and well I can do that. Hell, there's not anyone paying any attention to anything I have to see on any issue so prattle on baby. Be on your guard if you happen to be out and about on this 'day of rest', you just might find yourself in a situation wherever you might venture and some stupid freak will show up with an assault rifle and commence to killing people.
