Halloween ... Xmas?
The wife and I did our usual Saturday shopping gig at our local Walmart and just like that ... Halloween has turned to Xmas. All the Halloween stuff is gone and the gigantic skeleton that greeted anyone walking into Walmart was greeted by a Xmas tree loaded with "cozy comfy socks." Evidently cozy comfy socks will be a big hit for this year's xmas. Xmas trees are decorated and lights are blazing blinking and to what should my wondering eyes appear but an inflated Santa with Rudolf, not Maya, leading the inflatable procession. I think it might have been very cool to have an inflatable Maya Rudolph. All waving and saying hello to the Walmart customers not quite ready for xmas on Halloween. Personally I think Walmart is pushing the xmas stuff way too early but that's probably just me. I think ... So Halloween came and went even before the kiddies had a chance to hit their neighborhoods for some trick or treats. Loads of treats. I would if people are supposed to give out...
