NASA has a new biggy big big Space Launch System Rocket. Yup it's a big one no doubt. HOWEVER, the SLS rocker is NOT bigger than the tried and true Saturn V. The Saturn V rocket is the first rocket to take American astronauts to the moon and back six times landing and one miss. The ill-fated Apollo 13 mission had to tank on account of exploding service modules and that turned into one terrific movie for the big screen. The Saturn V took Americans to the moon and each and every last mission was a thing to behold. So I am a bit biased and I can admit that. The new SLS rocket is a doozy and comes close to the Saturn V. HOWEVER, one time again, the SLS has yet to get off a launch pad. The Saturn V got off a NASA launch pad just about every time NASA went go to green to launch one. That can NOT be said about the spiffy keen SLS. In physical stature the Saturn V is taller by about 30 or so feet. No biggy there. The SLS has way more powerful engines and that's for certain. However, those engines are still in the theoretical phase. Well see how this new SLS holds up come next Monday morning. Early Monday morning on August 29, 2022 at about 06:00 a.m. e.d.t., NASA will give the new SLS rocket a green to go and we shall see what we shall see. I'm hoping the launch is a rousing success. But having grown up on Saturn V rockets, well, I am jaded. You go NASA. Three cheers for space nerds. We go where no human has gone before. Rest In Peace Mr. Spock whatever timeline you might find yourself in. Now for Thorsday machine art.

so President Joe pardoned a bunch of student loans that have been hanging over peoples heads for quite a while now. the republicons went ballistic. I can't figure out why the freaks should be so upset. the dummies weren't ever gonna get any of that student loan backlog paid in full anyway. go figure... 😏
