Dateline...Not Gonna Happen. Sort of changes everything I'd written last evening. NASA planned to launch the Artemis I SLS Rocket at about 08:30 a.m. e.s.t., hopefully today. As I am scratching at my keyboard Sunday late afternoon, I don't know if the Artemis has broken those earthly bonds or not. It didn't launch. As hopeful as I might have been, rocket launches are incredibly intricate if not technically dang near impossible for mere mortals such as myself. That's why we have us a NASA to pull off the dang near impossible. About the time I'm posting this on a Monday morning we'll all know if NASA had a successful launch...or not. C'mon NASA... you can do this. NASA couldn't do it. Monday machine art comes right about next.

pundits are tossing the notion of a second American civil war around like it was a lighthearted bit of parlor gossip. civil war is not civil or a notion for mindless gossip. civil war is a hate-fueled, bloody, brutal, and ugly business and should be approached is if the notion were the Black Plague. which it is...of course. I do hope that there are some mature and intelligent adults left in the American room. I suppose we shall see if push comes to shove. 😩
