The future begins in about 5 maybe ten minutes from now. Wow is that existential or what. The future of our Planet is in serious peril. Drought, wildfire, political bullshit, and anything trump will have consequences that reach far into the future. For the people well, there's not much hope or future. Did you know that the northeastern part of our "Union" is under serious drought? Well that part of America is under drought and that drought is unprecedented. Massachusetts is freaking the bejesus out because of drought. Massachusetts? Yup and New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, New York, and Connecticut. Go figure. In fact about the ONLY state in our Union that isn't in a drought is West Virginia. Of course West Virginia has bigger problems than a silly drought. Think Joe Manchin and coal. West Virginia put all of their financial eggs in a coal basket and elected Joe Manchin to senatorial office. Tough luck all you West Virginia Mountaineers. Mountaineers? Not freaking likely. You could consider Coloradans 'mountaineers' or maybe Montanans could be 'mountaineers' or Idahoans might be 'mountaineers' but...West Virginians? I'm gonna call bullshit on that fallacy. East Californians might be 'mountaineers'. Oopsies, I've digressed big time. Back to the drought subject. America is in an alarming continent wide drought. Europe is in a continent wide drought. Parts of Russia are in drought. Parts of China are in drought. Just about anywhere you might care to look is in drought. Excepting for West Virginia. The time for taking serious action to alleviate drought conditions was about 50 years back when. Oh well, missed that deadline by about a whole bunch. Happy Friday everyone and for all your New Englanders, well, you have my sincere condolences. However, I did tell you a way back when.
