A man driving his car through Death Valley National Park and Hot As Hell Oven, became overcome by the heat, refused help of any sort, drove his car off a cliff at the end of a parking lot and died of heat exhaustion. Incidents such as this happen every summer and people refuse to take Death Valley seriously. It's hot in Death Valley, hot like a sauna hot, and if anyone hasn't tested the premise ... please be advised to don't. There is a time of year when it's perfectly fine to visit Death Valley and not risk imminent demise. About October through March is prime time for a visit to Death Valley. Just about any other time is not the time for seeing if one is up to the task of cheating death. Why do people wonder about why Death Valley is called Death Valley ...
