Today will mark the beginning of the exodus. People shall flee the cities and towns across Amerika and head for somewhere else. Memorial Day weekend and Thursday is the unofficial start to Memorial Day carnage and mayhem. After having been in lockdown for the better part of an entire year, Amerikans are rarin' to go. On holiday of course. So for race enthusiasts the Indy 500 or anything NASCAR can throw up will not be where the racing action will be. Nope. The interstates and highways will be glue your butt to the front seat time and hold on while Amerika gets the hell away from home. Holiday frenzy like you have probably never seen before. I fully intend to stay home and enjoy a little peace and quiet. I plan on installing one of those Green Man thingies to do my part and help to alleviate the drought the western U. S. is suffering under. Suffering under? Hmmm...suffering without? Ain't not no dang rain so's we gots to do what we can. Rain dances, call the 'rain man', don't bother watering the lawn which is an adequate explanation for why there's a damn drought. Idiot folk can't break wise considering there's no snow pack for runoff, all the reservoirs are emptying fast, and to add misery to discomfort the Colorado River isn't. Not anymore. The Colorado is not running its usual springtime runoff high. The Green River is running not so usually high. The Virgin River... same deal. They ain't not no dang water anywhere. So installing a Green Man totem can only help. That and the Green Man thingy I ordered looks pretty cool. The Green Man is supposed to come on Friday and that would be tomorrow. I have Amazon's word on that. Delivering my ordered Green Man thingy and not any rain but I'd be willing to bet that if Bezos thought he could turn a dime on delivering rain, well, he'd be all over that. I have to wonder if Bezos will be able to produce any MGM quality movies. Cause you know, Bezos bought MGM. I don't think the MGM deal includes the MGM casino in Vegas. I could be wrong. It could be I really don't care. Yeah that last one. Amazon the movie making scheme let Amerika down when they didn't finish the 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' series. I watched that and thought it was pretty good. I watched it on account of it was on tv. I don't go to movies and not for a long time. The movies are mostly a rather large and expensive disappointment. One shouldn't have to take out a mortgage to take the wife to dinner and a movie. Dang popcorn is way too pricey for me. Anyway here comes the holiday weekend and so it's time for machine art. The preceding was mere prattle to set up the machine art diorama. Yeah that's my story for now and I'll stick with it. For now...
