I am of course referring to Memorial Day. The very last week in the month of May and the very last weekend in the month of May will signal the officious start of summer season 2021. Memorial Day will be May 31 and gosh, that's the very last day in a month of May. Is that about astounding or what. So you'll want to get all your motorized toys fueled and loaded onto your toy haulers, stock up on beer, stock up on bandages, get more beer, and then head for the great outdoors. With any luck you might not start any wildfires so that should be a plus. Start a dang wildfire and that will muck up a holiday weekend for sure. This time of year and wildfires happen all by themselves and certainly the wildfires don't need any dumb ass human component playing fast and loose with matches, sparks, and/or campfires. Remember what Smokey Bear has to say about fire..."only you can prevent forest fires." Or a grass fire that quickly becomes a forest fire. Leave the damn fireworks at home as this upcoming holiday weekend isn't the 4th of July. Close but not close enough to be setting off fireworks. Fireworks should be outlawed during any drought and the West is drought stricken. We had a nice little rain over the weekend last but that just prompts the grasses and stuff to grow like weeds. With that cheery note we shall move on to machine art. You see, machine art in general will hardly ever start a wildfire. Yup, hardly ever.
