Saturday In Non Binary Terms

 With celebrities taking flight and losing all sense of existential realism, it might be time to extol celebrities to get a grip. On themselves and on how those celebrities are perceived by the public at large. You see, regular folk haven't the time nor the privilege to be able to indulge in self-serving flights of fantasy. The world in general could care less whether Molly and Moe Schmoe are gender specific, non gender specific, non binary in fashion choice, positively binary when it comes to food choices, and so it goes. Celebrities overall tend to be more than a bit self absorbed and raging neurotic when it comes to the daily grind of being pretentious. Which is exactly what any number of celebrities are. Glaringly pretentious and pampered to a fault. When Demi Lovato comes out to the Hollywood media and declares herself as "non binary" what does that even mean. Lovato is no longer magnetic and therefore is non binary in polarity? Lovato is so screwed up psychologically, she no longer knows if and or whether she is female or male or androgynous or your basic run-of-the-mill hermaphrodite. What is it? Which is it? Who cares? Did Lovato so much as give a cracker crumb that Palestinians are being slaughtered wholesale by Israelis? Does Lovato even know what the dust up between Israel and Palestine is about? Does she have even the slightest clue as to what 'brexit' might mean for Scotland? Or Northern Ireland. Or Wales and yes Wales is part and parcel to any 'brexit' situation. You see and given a little time to brew, Wales might end up in the same situation as Palestine. I mean, who knows? Certainly not Demi Lovato. She overdosed on heroin (?) had a stroke and totally missed any opportunity to actually make changes in her life that might matter. Best the woman, if she still considers herself thusly, could come up with is 'non binary'. I think that's more than a little sad. Over indulged and pompous and of course wholly without a clue as to what might be important in our ever so rapidly deteriorating world situation. Climate change could very well bring the Pacific Ocean right over the woman's home. That is IF the woman lives in Los Angeles. I am making an assumption here. About all of it for sure. Doesn't really matter as I do not now nor probably ever, in what little time I have left for this here Planet Earth, give a fuck what Lovato thinks or feels about anything. Certainly not about whether Lovato thinks of herself as an "it." Yes, that is more than a little sad for Lovato and all the other self-important Hollywood celebrity types that can't figure out for themselves what to be or not to be and that isn't even a question. See what I did there? I injected a little Shakespearean non binary humor into this here prattle and venting of spleen on my part. Good for me. Let us wander our way in a non binary fashion into today's machine art. Today's art may in fact be non binary. But then again...maybe not. :}
