Friday the 14th!

Yup. Friday the 14th and you may not want to venture out of your house today. It's Friday the 14th after all. Spooky no doubt. I mean there's Covid-19 variants on the loose. There's mass shooters on the loose. Tigers on the loose in Texas. Yes Texas. Okay, to be quite specific there's one tiger on the loose in Houston. The tiger is alleged to have a peculiar fondness for children. Yikes. However and with all the icky news for this day, the CDC says we won't have to wear masks any longer. For the most part. Except in places where the wearing of masks is still enforced. Wear a mask, don't wear a mask, you don't have to wear a mask over there, you still have to wear a mask at that one place, AND the "mandates" will change about Monday. Seems that the pandemic officiate can't make up our minds. But do still get vaccinated. That is if you haven't been vaccinated yet. Get yourself vaccinated it's painless. In other big news, Aaron Rogers will not be playing football for Green Bay this season and for the foreseeable future. Nope. Rogers is looking for greener pastures that won't involve getting the crap knocked out of him on any given Sunday. Rogers is banking on getting the new host gig on Jeopardy. My money is on Ken Jennings getting the hosting gig but I'm totally out of any loop that involves naming a new host for Jeopardy. Probably doesn't matter to Rogers if he plays football or not. The man has more than enough bucks to last him until hell freezes over. As for knees, well, Rogers is probably ass out on that note. Knees out? Matters how? Congressional Republicans are planning a barbecue for this Sunday and the Congressional Rethugs will be barbecuing Liz Cheney. Oh yes. Cannibalism is the "new" Rethuglican thing to do on a Sunday whenever Congress is not in session. Seeing as how Congress is rarely in session anymore, Sundays are open for all manner of Rethuglican hijinks. The Republican cannibals will be using Kansas style barbecue sauce for the Liz roast. They plan to barbecue Cheney guts and all. Hmmm...sounds Wyoming tasty. There will be Rocky Mountain oysters on the side along with virgin Kansas sweet corn. Almost makes one want to head to Babylon-On-The-Potomac for the eats. Yummy. Okay and enough frivolity for a Friday the 14th. On to the machine art.
