It's Not The Fall ...

It is NOT the fall that will kill a person. What kills a person is that sudden stop at the end of a fall that turns the trick. Here's a reality based note that might help those that are of a mind to flaunt the basic laws of physics and common sense while out in the great wide open and places like Yellowstone National and Yosemite National Parks. When it's raining, stay the fuck off of places like Half Dome, Yellowstone Falls Trail, and an assortment of dangerous natural sites that attract Americans like moths to a candle's flame. Case in point, the Black Diamond Pool hydrothermal explosion on Tuesday last in Yellowstone N.P. and then, a young woman that slipped and fell to her demise while hiking/climbing Yosemite's Half Dome in the rain. In the RAIN. That incident happened early in July 2024. How dang stupid does one have to be to attempt hiking the Half Done in a rainstorm. Granite gets snot slippery slick when soaked in rain and given the angle of steep that is the climb up Half Dome in a rainstorm, that's just asking for your ticket to get punched. Which the young woman's ticket did. Get punched. Slipped and fell off the Half Dome IN THE RAIN and was able to scream almost the entire distance off the Half Dome UNTIL the young woman met Mother Earth face first and fait accompli. So one more time, it isn't the fall that kills. It's that sudden stop at the bottom of any fall that causes the termination of existence. SPLAT!!! Now it's time for Thursday machined artware.

every year after year in the National Parks people do really stupid shit and pay with their lives for flaunting the rules. the rules are posted at every entrance to our National Parks AND you can also ask any Park Ranger for the do's and don'ts regarding Park safety. turn around and don't be stupid. 😐
