 In Argentina, goldfish have been recognized as "sentient beings with rights." Yep the goldfish have rights and more rights than Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. More rights than most First Nations North Americans. The goldfish here under discussion are named Fede and Magui and they've been living in a fish tank highlighting a sushi restaurant in Buenos Aires. Well not any more. After the Argentine court ruled on the goldfish' behalf, the fish were moved under tight Argentine security to a rather posh new fish tank that is roomy water conditioned for goldfish comfort and away from the glaring light of a Buenos Aires sun. Fish had been living in a restaurant window on a Buenos Aires street and the fishies were in close proximity to the restaurant kitchen. That had to suck no doubt. Anyway, goldfish won their case in Argentine Court, won their right to be sentient, and they won the right for all species to be all they can be. The celebrity goldfish will soon try out for the Argentine Men's FIFA soccer World Cup team, have their pictures on the front page of the Buenos Aires Daily Prattle, and they've qualified for full retirement benefits. I think that's marvelous. Here to think America is tied to trumpf and the all eunuch grifters full contact ass sniffing team. Gosh, some fishies have all the legal luck ...
