Big Day Comes ...

 Tomorrow is 'the' day. 250 years of American zeitgeist and that should probably mean something HOWEVER ... 250 years of America, 528 days of trumpf. Seems like the first 250 years of America were a piece of cake compared to the interminable days of trumpf. Remembering that America fought a war against Mexico, a war against First Nation Americans fighting to hold on to lands those First Americans had until up jumped whitey. America fought a war against England and that'd be the war of 1812. America fought a civil war. A war against Spain, a World War I, a "Great Depression", a Second World War, a war (policing action) against North Korea and we are still at war against North Korea as there has never been any sort of armistice or declaration declaring an end to hostilities. A war in Vietnam. A really stupid war of naked aggression against Afghanistan and then Iraq after September 11, 2001. And now it's a war against Iran. On then off then on then ... you know ... 250 years of some ups some downs and the booming days of post World War II that gave our world 'boomers', rock and roll, drugs, a war on drugs, and Ronny Raygun, Bubba, Dubya, Barack, Joe, and trumpf again. Gosh all that sort of doesn't even stir the juices for a July 4th celebration. Trumpf ruined our anniversary. Trumpf ruins every god damn thing he touches. Especially so when it comes to barely teenage girls. Epstein Files are a bigger draw than any 250th Anniversary of our Declaration of Independence from England. Damn that is sad. I didn't bother being to accurate with listing some of the major incursions America has been involved with. I got most of it close and close is only ever good in horseshoes and hand grenades. and of course listing reasons for an anniversary thingy ... 😏

  Labor Day weekend kids and this is the last of summer 2025. So that's it over and done even though the "official" end of summer is marked by the autumnal equinox and that happens on September 22, 2025 at exactly 11:19 a.m. and I don't know if that would be Pacific Daylight Savings Time or the Universal Standard Time and that's the "royally specific" time in Greenwich, England. Or the U.K. if one is to be picky about mostly irrelevant shit. I'm not certain when the Labor Day holiday was announced as being the "last day of summer" and I would guess that the naming of the day has to do with commercial interests and everyone else can pound sand. Which by the way if one is taking the family to the beach, well, pounding sand is more than likely on a list of things to do at the beach. Just be sure to watch for sharks if you're at the beach as the sharks are having 'dental issues' and as with all 'dental issues' that can leave...

Irrelevant News For Those In The NO ...

Amy Schumer, famed chubby lady and once upon a time comedian with SNL, is giving her hubby the pitch to the curb. A curb in New Orleans evidently. I'm not certain what that's about and I really am in no mood to enquire. So and some hardly particular details about Schumer, yes she is related to Senator Chuck Shooo ... mer, she's his niece or something like that there. Ms. Schumer put on weight. I mean a lot of weight and she lost her spot with SNL, lost all her self respect, lost a fabulously prescient wardrobe, and plodded off into that great world of anonymity. Golly don't you just feel for the 'celebrities' that have fallen from the public eye. Not me ... I find it all rather entertaining and mean spirited as that might sound, that's exactly how I meant it.
