Tabs Reveal

I knew a young man name of Ted and, Ted had this peculiar tab on the back of his head. Ted insisted he'd had the tab since the day he was born but, there were some that wouldn't believe Ted's insistence. Those in the non believing camp maintain there was no way Ted could be carrying memories from his birth to his present day. Anyway many of Ted's friends thought they should examine Ted's tab on the back of his head and Ted being amenable to the notion, Ted's friends gathered round and took a good hard look at the back of Ted's head. Magnifying glasses at the ready and the 'examination' began. After much looking and grabbing of the magnifying glass to get a real up close look at Ted's tab, Ted's friends and Ted arrived at some simple conclusions. One, the tab on the back of Ted's head did indeed look as though the tab had been on the back of Ted's head from his birth. Second, there was an arrow on the tab on the back of Ted's head that indicated which way the tab on the back of Ted's head should be pulled. That ever so familiar "lift and pull" message was on Ted's tab and all Ted's friends agreed that the 'lift and pull' message seemed simple enough. So Ted manage to get his friends up to speed on a novelty Ted had lived with for as long as Ted could remember. Not really all that long for boys passing through that adolescent stage of life. Anyway and after some serious rounds of what to do, everyone decided it was a good idea to lift Ted's tab and see what it all meant. So the guys got a chair for Ted to have a sit, they flipped a coin to see whom might get the honor of lifting then pulling that tab on the back of Ted's head. After all the elimination rounds there was just one guy that had flipped himself into contention for the honor of lifting and pulling Ted's tab. The main event came round, Ted's friends gathered round so as to be able to see what was about to happen. The tab on the back of Ted's head was lifted and pulled ... Ted's head opened up rather cleanly and to the groups surprise there was a message attached to the tab that had been on the back of Ted's head reading ... "warranty void if opened." Now everyone knew what would happen should the tab on the back of Ted's head get lifted then pulled. A genuine shocker no doubt. Now for Wednesday machine art.
