Brief Very Brief

The wife and I bought a new desktop iMac about four months ago and the new computer was "allegedly" equipped with the newest and most to date software and ancillary crap. Today we received, again, from Apple a brand new OS and the install took better than an hour and 45 minutes. The current incarnation of Apple is NOT the same Apple as when Steve Jobs was calling the shots. Now for Tuesday machine art. I did indicate today's installment was to be brief.

  So Monday, June 19th is "Juneteenth." Now an official federal holiday and the actual Juneteenth happened June 19, 1865, when a Union General informed black slaves in Texas that the Civil War was over AND all slaves were now free. Dang if'n it don't about suck to be the last to know. White Texans weren't about to inform black people about their freedom. As a footnote to history, the Jim Crow era began in Texas. Now for a Saturday machine art festival. Requiem For A Dying Planet

  The ocean waters off the coast of Florida are clocking in at 100+ degrees and that would be Fahrenheit not Celsius. I'm almost certain the ocean waters around Florida have set a new world record for hot and I'm saying damn hot ocean water. Floridians and tourists alike can kiss the ocean aquatic life forms bye bye. I'm almost certain that ocean water isn't supposed to be that manner of hot. Of course our world's political elite will ignore the data that is confirmed and stumble blindly towards extinction. All life that currently inhabits Planet Earth. I suppose that the humans had a nice run. Well, some humans. Now for Thursday machine art. psychotic - whorl - concern - so happy - dragons - rocky - when life on Planet Earth goes extinct...any human life still wandering the Earth is gonna freak the fuck out. 😐
