Those erstwhile monks are chanting for Friday. You see that's what they do. They chant on Friday and have done so for well over thousands of years. "Friday ... Friday ... Friiiii day." Rinse repeat then repeat again. Yes that 'thousands' is plural and for a reason. Reason being ... the monks have been at the old chanting business for more than that long. Well ... duh. The monks Abbey is located in East Erstwhile so the location made for a dandy reference point for the monks to call themselves. So when it's not Friday and the chanting is on pause Saturday through Thursday, the monks brew beer. And ale. A very long time ago the monks tried their hand at making wine but none of the monks had the patience to wait until the wine had aged properly so they chalked that up to tried that and won't again. I have been advised that the beer made by the Erstwhile Abbey monks is some pretty decent suds. I gave up drinking suds quite a few years back. My waist line grew to somewhat intolerant of overly imbibing the brew. So I'll rely on word of mouth. Or you know ... whatever. I suppose word of mouth is a pretty heady way to spread the word about Erstwhile Abbey brews. Their brews even come in flavors. Evidently there's a strawberry flavored ale. There's an orange flavored Pilsner. A dark rum flavored Jamaican Red Star lager. Gosh I had no idea. Anyway, if you're a beer drinker searching for something with some flavor and a really trendy drink, try some Erstwhile Abbey Brand Ales and Beers. Available at a monk liquor store anywhere close to where you may in fact reside. DISCLAIMER ... there was NO cash incentive offered for my glowing and partially maudlin plug for the Erstwhile Abbey monks and their brewage. Now for Friday machine art. I don't know what that translates to in gregorian calendar months ... you see the iranians use a different calendar than our "western world" uses. the iranians use a 'solar hijri calendar' whatever the hell that is. don't use one ... done care to use one ... seems pointless and possibly uncivilized and what is up with that anyway ... 😏
