It certainly has been a busy week post July 4th. Floods in Texas and New Mexico and wildfires in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah and that's just for starters. A media feeding frenzy is swarming vulture like in Texas and the unpreparedness of Kerr County, Texas. It's reported now that at least 120 people are confirmed drowned and another 150 persons are reported "missing." OR it's 150 persons drowned and 120 missing. Further reporting indicates it could take months before all the missing are finally found. Yee-ouch that has so got to suck for the families of those 'missing'. It's a foregone conclusion the 'missing' are dead ... what isn't a foregone conclusion is the when will those bodies will be recovered. The flooding in New Mexico saw several deaths but New Mexico had disaster planning in place and functional so New Mexico was able to avoid a precipitous loss of life. I'm thinking the good people of Kerr County, Texas are NOT to happy with their elected 'officials' and the pass-the-buck syndrome is very much alive and growing irate in all of Texas. The wheelchair governor of Texas, one Greg Abbott, has been mostly avoiding the questions from media and the people of Texas. So Governor Snivels doesn't want to answer any questions from, well, anybody ... maybe Abbott should head for Greece like Texas Senator Cuban Ted Cruz. Cruz is the poster boy for sniveling, slimy, and corrupt assholes in the United States Senate. That cold hard factoid falls squarely on the voting public in Texas. Yes those republicunts are responsive to the people. Sure sure ... I suppose it is now a dang good reason to stay the fuck away from Texas. The Texans gots a whole world of esplainin' and answering to be done and not even the bookies are taking bets that anyone will be held to account. Now for Saturday machine art.

you know when it's a 111 degrees hot, dry, blue sky for miles kind of day and the humidity reads at a sad 1% ... one sort of pines for winter ... with snow ... some ice ... and a comfortable 30 degrees Fahrenheit outside. why yes it most certainly does ... there's only about six more months until there will be the slimmest chance of that happening ... 😐
