Raining Down In Texas

 All the telephone lines are down. Thanks for that Stevie Ray. It most certainly did rain down in Texas and damn if those Texans weren't prepared or not even close. Significant in all this would be the firing of all the NWS people that kept folk up to speed on weather danger and imminent really dangerous weather. Dangerous weather that occurred in Kerr County, Texas. The Guadalupe River rose 26 feet in 45 minutes. Water coming up that fast a person might not be able to outrun that. A summer camp full of young ladies found that out in about 45 minutes. Search and questionable rescue is still searching for 11 of those girls. Back to some pertinent info, NWS would be the National Weather Service and those intrepid government employees kept America safe during severe thunderstorms with flooding. Tornadoes that wreak havoc on America's heartland. And of course we can't be forgetting hurricanes. Hurricane season is just about ready to crank up for an unprepared America. Orange Adolf had musk and his doge gang go through federal government and terminate just about anyone of any importance and that hit NOAA really and tragically hard. NWS is part and the very public face of NOAA. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. That would be all the scientific researching and monitoring kids that are now way out there ... somewhere and I'm certain that any number of those people are grieving for the loss of life in Texas. Considering how callous and cold most of America has become, tragic loss of life in Texas is just another news blurb to ignore or shake heads at and especially IF that's none of "my affair." The residents of Kerrville, Texas received notice about Friday's flooding ... Sunday July 5, 2025. Two whole days AFTER the flood. Everyone in Kerr County, Texas was fully aware of the flooding and massive loss of life by Saturday. Talk about outrageous. None and I do mean not a one of Texas elected officialdom city, county, state, and of course the federales offered not much more than "the people in Kerr County certainly have our prayers." Praying will not now or ever help those grieving nor repair the damage inflicted by a storm that should have been warned about and in time to do at least a small amount of preparedness and get a number of young ladies at summer camp out of harm's way. Yes my friends, the regime of Orange Adolf is off and lilting hard a port and taking young ladies and anyone else standing around innocent as can be, down with his quickly sinking ship of state. Texas Governor Wheels Abbott was quoted in an interview Sunday morning, "those bodies will wash up sooner or later but for now Kerr County, Texas has our prayers." Prayers again ... hypocrisy in bright and freshly defecated bullshit.

one parting thought ... I saw a photo from Kerr County, Texas that showed a Freightliner tractor sitting up a flood ravaged tree. a long damn way up that tree ...
