A Taliban Ban Bummer

 Dateline Afghanistan...

The puritanical Taliban rag-heads have "forbidden" Afghan women, young and old, from attending "university." I was unaware that Afghanistan had a "university." Or higher education in any form or format. Afghans are not an especially highbrow bunch. Near as can be gleamed from an outsider looking in on Afghanistan, the male population is for the most part knuckle dragging barbarians that prefer their women and children ignorant and most of all, obedient. Males of the human species in Afghanistan hold sway over all aspects of Afghan life and are more than unwilling to yield not even an inch in the manner of compromise or displays of human decency. The religion of the Taliban seems to be draconian and rooted squarely back in the dark ages of human development. Brutality and violence are the Taliban stock in trade. It's perfectly acceptable to dismiss the Taliban and their religion as a foul and fetid thing unworthy of even the slightest accommodation from twenty first century humanity. Dang if'n these miserable fucks aren't simply killing each other and the Afghan women so's the men can get their asses to "paradise" and commence to mounting those "promised" 70 virgins. Talk about primitive religious beliefs. There seems to be something entirely wrong with Islam's extreme sects. However, that can be said about any dumbass religion be it Mooselim, Jewish, Catholic, and especially those ever so popular evangelical christians that seem to have a stranglehold on America's Supreme Court. We are in some damn shaky uncharted territory now goddamn it. I really don't care for the klanvangelicals and not in the least. I can say that as once upon a time, I studied for taking up the clergy and a ministry. I was mercifully 'saved' for any and all of that bullshit. Now for Thursday machine art. No Taliban ban will be found here.
