Labor Day 2022 is history. Everyone back to work. Of course and given that working people actually got the Labor Day holiday off. I'm thinking that the only people that got the holiday off were folk that work for our grand ole government federal, state, and local. Of course the postal service got the day off and banker folk got the holiday off and those annoying administration types that work in hospitals got the day off. The guys wearing ties. The vast majority of America's work force had to work. No holiday for you! I think that the next whoopee holiday where folks actually get a day off would be Thanksgiving Day. Gosh...that won't happen until the fourth Thursday in November. Continue the drudgery people. Now for some machine art.

I tried watching the much heralded prequel to 'Lord of the Rings' on the Amazon movie channel. The work is visually stunning. That's where it all ends. Deluxe special effects seriously in need of a coherent script. Holy crap, you'd think that someone would have written a half decent script for this mysteriously mysterious collection of really loose ends. At the rate this mess is dragging along, by sometime in 2025, maybe and just maybe, there will be answers and a conclusion. We'll just have to wait and see. As to whether this mess is worth the bother remains to be seen. 😖
