The State of Arizona has made Pluto, the planet, the "official" planet of Arizona. Oh that is true that is ever so true. Now there certainly can be any number of issues raised about Arizona insanity and whether their insanity is because of the Arizona water, or lack thereof, mineral pollution, air pollution, population, Joe Arpaio, or simply on account of the Arizona sun frying people's brains. I lived in Arizona for a number of years and Arizona can be brutally and gaddanged HOT. However there is very little humidity so the extreme heat is at least tolerable. Back to the point of this here screed. The State of Arizona has taken a rather futuristic lead and introduced legislation in the Arizona Legislature, passed that legislation, sent the passed legislation to Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs and Ms. Hobbs signed that legislation into law and there you go. Arizona is now the soul owner and proprietor of our solar system's Planet Pluto. You might remember how the International Astronomical Union took a vote a few years back and reduced Pluto's designation as a planet to a "planetesimal" and that bullshit action precipitated a public outcry and much of the public outcry was directed at Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, a rather noteworthy and distinguished astrophysicist, as Dr. Tyson voted to downgrade Pluto from the ranks of our Solar System's Planets. Bad Dr. Tyson .. bad BAD Dr. Tyson. Yes I sent a rather nasty email to Dr. Tyson to express my utter astonishment at such a cowardly action by the IAU. However the IAU will now be forced to reconsider their idiot and arrogant act as Pluto now has the backing of the State of Arizona and believe me, the Arizonans are armed to their teeth. That is no fooling around either. I've seen with mine very own eyes the guns, rifles, ammunitions of all manner and steel jacketed bulletry and the like. Well armed is phrasing the situation mildly. My point would be thus ... the IAU had better sit up and take notice. The State of Arizona has done what should have been done years ago by making Pluto the official Planet of Arizona. I'm not exactly certain where Arizona might need to file the official notice of Planetary Property Ownership. I suppose it really doesn't matter. Arizona is armed and ready to defend their claim on Pluto the ninth PLANET in our solar system. Now for easter and Sunday machine art.
