Stung In His ... Balls?!?

 Dateline Sin City, Nevada -

A man gets stung by a scorpion whilst asleep at a Vegas Strip Resort. The Venetian to be precise. The kicker to the "incident" would be that the guy was stung by a scorpion in the balls. Oh good lard ahmighty ... that would hurt all to be damned. Oh yes that would. Ancillary to the guy having his manhood damaged and his dignity exposed to global mockery, stung guy is now in the process of suing the Venetian and anyone connected to the Venetian and that is to include the maids, janitors, bell persons, limo drivers, and probably anyone even kinfolk to the Venetian. Okay and so, after a quick check to get the litigants correctly named, the Venetian is The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The guy's name is Michael Farchi from California. Farchi reported the "incident" to the Venetian desk person after his being stung and then headed to hospital for a thorough check of his testicles and sure enough, his nuts were victim of an assault by scorpion stinger and the medical records can confirm Farchi's predicament. Now here's the deal about scorpions, Vegas is situated in the Mojave Desert and deserts are home to any number of fauna that will, if you happen on a desert inhabitant, cause you some damn embarrassing encounters if you don't respect and give a wide berth to stingers, fangs, spikes, and bites. Scorpions can and will get in your home, get in your sleeping bag or resort bed, your boots, and openings invisible to the naked human eye. It is wise to check under your bed coverings, shake out your boots, and even check under a toilet seat. Farchi didn't check his bed or his underwear and so, stinging testicles and embarrassment deluxe. At least Farchi will have a Vegas story to tell. He is after all suing the Venetian Strip Resort. Farchi's 'incident' will not be kept in Vegas. Every word of Farchi's painful encounter will be in court records for anyone to exam in future law school curriculums. Farchi is now 'infamous' and he will live with that and the damage to his balls for the remainder of his life. Pity that no doubt.

Now we break for Wednesday machine art and someone please cue the camera.

I've encountered scorpions, snakes, cholla, mesquite trees, grabbers, stabbers, stingers, and bugs that can leave one serious bite mark after being assaulted by the aforementioned bug. in the Mojave there live tarantula wasps and the wasps are large and I mean as big as your thumb. you can tell if you happen on a tarantula wasp, they are black and red and at times belligerent. I do love me some desert. 😎
