These United States of America have given the under siege nation of Ukraine nearly $50 billion dollars in the form of humanitarian aid, military aid, and grants to hopefully assist the nation of Ukraine resist and stand tall in the face of Russia's illegal war of naked aggression. $50 billion dollars of yours and my money. A measly 10 percent of that $50 billion would still be a staggering $5 billion dollars. Dang that is a mountain of money. I have to wonder how many homeless people could have been helped. How many hungry men, women, and children could have been fed. How many women suffering through an unwanted pregnancy could have been helped. I have to wonder how events and circumstances may have been altered. I have to wonder what in hell is the human species doing. To the overall human condition. To the only Planet we have to live on. Considering that our place in the cosmic panoply of all things doesn't even amount to much more than an infinitesimal teeny tiny barely a dust fleck if that...$50 billion dollars is not much more than a brief pause on a road to nowhere. 10 percent of $50 billion dollars could do so much good and yet...
