Sing A Song Of ... Hope?

 President Barack Obama and the Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, were holding a preschool session with preschool children at a free preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds in the South Bronx. The preschool is Learning Through Play Pre-K Center. For 3 and 4 year olds, Presidents ex, and Mayors of New York incumbent. Songs sang were the ever so popular 'Wheels on the Bus' and some ditty about Korean demons which the children knew right off the starting note. President Obama seemed to know the Korean pop song but Mr Mayor Mamdani didn't have a clue. It's okay Mr Mayor, I didn't have a clue either. Korean pop demon songs? For preschool children? What kind of dealy is that? I don't know. What is our world coming to ...  ? Anyway, the event was pretty dang cool by anyone's standards. Way back in the day, the days of "the Cold War, duck and cover, and nuclear fallout shelters in backyards, we never had songs about Korean demon hunters or Korean anything. Back in those days the Korean War had barely come to a bloody stalemate and technically America is still at war with the North Koreans and probably China. Golly don't y'all remember what fun that was ...? Cold War duck and cover. We learned that in school. We didn't learn anything about Korean pop demons but we did learn 'Wheels on the Bus' a postwar classic no doubt. Anyway, you would never see orange adolf pedofuhrer trumpf in a preschool classroom. First off trumpf would scare the bejesus out of the preschool children and the kids would run home to mommies crying about how the old orange man tried to grab the girls by their pussies ... dang, right out and out pedophile criminal no doubt. Jeepers if'n that trumpf fool isn't about batcrap insane. Anyway Obama and Mamdani are real Americans while trumpf is simply an asshole that should be rotting in a prison cell. Alrighty then, time we segue over to Monday machine art.

  Labor Day weekend kids and this is the last of summer 2025. So that's it over and done even though the "official" end of summer is marked by the autumnal equinox and that happens on September 22, 2025 at exactly 11:19 a.m. and I don't know if that would be Pacific Daylight Savings Time or the Universal Standard Time and that's the "royally specific" time in Greenwich, England. Or the U.K. if one is to be picky about mostly irrelevant shit. I'm not certain when the Labor Day holiday was announced as being the "last day of summer" and I would guess that the naming of the day has to do with commercial interests and everyone else can pound sand. Which by the way if one is taking the family to the beach, well, pounding sand is more than likely on a list of things to do at the beach. Amy Schumer, famed chubby lady and once upon a time comedian with SNL, is giving her hubby the pitch to the curb. A curb in New Orleans evidently. I'm not certain what that's about and I really am in no mood to enquire. So and some hardly particular details about Schumer, yes she is related to Senator Chuck Shooo ... mer, she's his niece or something like that there. Ms. Schumer put on weight.
