Carpe Denim

 Jeans ... blue jeans baby. I've worn nothing but ever since I could first recognize what was cool. There is absolutely NO other fabric on our entire planet that can match denim. Blue jeans baby ... blue jeans. I started off with Levi's and then came dungarees and now it's Wranglers. Real comfortable jeans. Levi's fell out of fashion after they started to offshore their production of jeans. Pity no doubt. Levi's has never really recovered from that little faux pas. The dummies went cheap and that cost them big time and Levi's is certainly not the global titan from back in the day. So now it's Wranglers and back in the day wranglers were what the ropers wore. The dopers wore dungarees and Levi's until the Levi's literally wore out and fell apart from frayed denim. Wore the jeans to work to play to concerts to weddings and just about anywhere else one was wont to be comfortable. Funerals were the rare exception. Funeral wear seemed almost a formal affair and wearing dress up clothing was the rule. Shirt, tie, black pants, and a suit coat ... good times no doubt. These days I've got jeans that I can date back to almost the civil war days and that is the facts concerning jeans ... denim jeans. Blue jeans ... baby. Yeah I've got nothing. How the hell are people supposed to keep up on the latest episode of crazy from trumpf ... Jezus the guy could fuck up a nightmarish wet dream. So now it's the transition over to Thursday machine art. Yes ... transition ... get over it.

Alrighty everyone back to work. Or school. Or whatever. Monday is come round again and there ain't not a thing can be done about that. You see, Mondays happen. As do Tuesdays then Wednesdays than...you might be able to catch my drift. In the further adventures of Philias Fogg (aka Around The World In Eighty Days airing on PBS), the intrepid trio was saved from off'n the island they'd been stranded on. Ms. Figg and the valet Passepartout seemed on the verge   sucking face but the trio (Philias Fogg, Abigail Fix, and Passepartout the valet and his first name is Jean) were saved and we the viewers were sparred a moment of forbidden love. You see the valet Passepartout is black and Ms. Figg is white and the 'Around The World In Eighty Days' tele-adventure is portrayed in the "Victorian era." Snobbery and racial bias is everywhere. British television's very own Dr. Who is portraying Philias Fogg. That would be David Tennant. The actor and not some on-the-fl...
