The Ghost Of Savak

 A way long time ago in a country known as Iran, there was this king guy that was a scourge upon the people of Iran. Not actually a king per se but a 'shaw' and the guy's name was Reza Pahlavi or better known as "Shaw Pahlavi of Iran." The former 'shaw' was mostly a dick and took great pleasure in torturing and killing his people. However at the time the "Shaw of Iran" was an ally of these United States and therefore the U.S. really didn't mind the sheer brutality of good old 'Shaw' dude. So and also at the time there was this ayatollah guy named "Khomeini" doing revolutionary ground work in Paris, France and ayatollah guy was preparing a return to Iran to depose the Shaw Pahlavi and apparently the U.S. and the C.I.A. was mostly convinced that the ayatollah guy was no big deal and holy head rags did the spooky boys get that wrong. So anyway and to speed things up just a mite, people of Iran rose up in near total disapproval of Pahlavi and went to work removing Pahlavi and sent Pahlavi off to exile in Egypt and welcomed the return of ayatollah Khomeini and not only welcomed Khomeini but made Khomeini a 'grand supreme ayatollah and dictatorial religious bag of nuts that turned Iran into a Muslim strictly by the Koran book of little tolerance for ... well ... just about anything. Enough of the backstory and we reset the clock to today and the Shaw Pahlavi's head of Iran's secret police was one Parviz Sabeti that fled Iran several weeks prior to the entire Shaw of Iran's house of cards collapsing. Sabeti ruled the Iranian secret police named the dreaded "Savak" and holy torn out fingernails if the Savak and Sabeti weren't some truly world class terrorizing humanity asshats. Anyway and more speeding up to get to the point of all this ... Sabeti fled Iran with his wife and kids along with a sizable cache of cash and moved post haste to Florida and doesn't that just figure. Anyway a number of survivors from the Savak/Sabeti days of torturous terror are suing Sabeti in a Florida court with claims of "crimes against humanity" and "that's not me" and "the statue of limitations has run its course" and oh yeah this has been dragging on for years. Almost like today and survivors of September 11, 2001 mishap are still at attempts to get some justice for all the people killed by the Saudi bin Laden. Yep and doesn't it just figure that a Saudi would be responsible for 9/11/01. Anyway the point of all this prattle and hum ... there is no real justice anywhere around our Planet and god damn if'n that doesn't just suck. Now for Tuesday machine art.
