Made It To Friday ... Barely

 So America comes dragging into Friday and a well deserved (?) weekend of footbowl college minor leagues and the footbowl pros. By the by, the pros are NOT from Dover. hint - watch the original MASH movie with Sutherland and Gould a cinema classic and some damn fine cinematic relief. Back to the 'dragging' schtick. After careful examination of available evidence and personal knowledge of ballistics and high powered rifles I've come to the conclusion that the Kirk killing was a professional hit. Yep an old fashioned assassination and executed almost flawlessly. According to "reports" which are amateur at best by the professionals that should know better, a high powered rifle was found later in the hills above UVU and I know where UVU is located and UVU is NOT close to the hills. So IF law enforcement made an announcement about a rifle well, that seems more than stupid and quite out of character for professional law enforcement. The pros would not say more than about "no details will be released at this time." Anyway, the shooter was atop an adjacent building that is one of several that surrounds the UVU amphitheater and obviously had a clear shot at Kirk. Kirk was under one of those canopy tent dealies and was sitting then standing when the fired bullet struck the guy clean in his neck. Damn quality sniper style shooting and ONLY one shot was necessary. That bullet would have severed arteries heading for the brain and spinal cord would have been shattered and death was instantaneous. Kirk was holding a microphone up toward his face and the guy did not even whimper or gasp or nada. As stated ... death was instantaneous. The guy's wife and children will be in serious mourning for quite some time. However, I do not feel much sorrow for guy's family. Kirk was a provocateur and nothing more and it matters not squat what America's orange adolf pedofuhrer trumpf has to bloviate on the subject. El jefe trumpf bears almost sole responsibility for Kirk being martyred. Yep the guy was martyred for the cause of trumpf's nazi dream for Amerika. Pity no doubt and this bullshit is far from over and the lunatic fringe that thrives on trumpf's every stumble is out for "retribution." Yep, this bullshit is far from over.
