Saturday

July 22, 2023 AND the freaking hot local atmospheric condition continues to be...HOT! A way out here in northeast Mojave Desert we hit a glorious 117 degrees Fahrenheit with a 1% humidity index. We've not seen hide nor hair of an annual monsoon. Maybe the annual monsoon will show up later. Maybe... So we'll stay indoors, mostly. Venturing outside is an arduous endeavor to be avoided. Hot. Too hot. Too damn hot. Ain't not a thing can be done about that. So in keeping with the trendy and prevailing sentiment, stay inside and play with the software. Now it's time for Saturday machine art. trayvon - squintz - wizened - campus photo op - orca morphology - globe - there is one positive about the intensity of the sun at present...it only takes about 5 minutes to get a fairly nice sun tan. anymore time in the sun you run the risk of ending up looking like a raisin. a raisin in the sun. get it? that's a literary funny. 😎

Lost In The DMZ

A U.S. Army guy that was in some serious hot water with the U.S. Army, did the shake and bake at the border with North Korea and then disappeared. Army guy had been raising hell in South Korea and the Army does not take kindly to their soldiers acting all wild and crazy in South Korea and the Army was making plans to ship the guy back stateside. The Army guy caught wind of the Army's plans and that was when Army guy did the bolt. Turns out the Army guy is named 'Wade Burlap'. Hmmm...I think we've uncovered the root of dude's personal demons. I don't know if 'Wade Burlap' is the guy's name, I made that up as I was keyboarding along and finding the moniker quite amusing I used it. Names can be ever so funny. Anyway, the Army soldier that bolted across the DMZ is quite seriously disappeared. I'm not certain that doing the bolt into North Korea was a well thought out plan. I mean...North Korea? Oh yes and for you younger kids, DMZ means 'demili...

It's HumpDay! Cue the camel and let's get on with it. Planet Earth waits patiently for that "cannibal CME" to smash into our home world and that just might be it. Or so states a collection of space scientists and solar observational types. You see our sun blew chunks out of a gigantic solar hole and the solar eruption was a real doozy. You see once again, it takes a couple of days for the CME blast wave to strike our Planet and of course all the solar accompanying radiation travels pretty much at the speed of light. Or close to that. So the solar vomit happened the other day and today marks the day when Planet Earth will get that solar vomit splash from top to bottom. If one happens to be an aficionado of ham radio, well, you're already up to speed on the CME damage. To the Planet. Now we'll segue to today's machine art contribution and hopefully our home world will hang on for a couple more days. At least. atomic bob - morality cop - twins - exclamation! ...

In the year 2010 I had a book of poetry published. My book went absolutely nowhere at the speed of anonymity. Anyway, Harvard scientists have concocted a pill that can reverse the aging process and it's an all-in-one pill. What those Harvard scientists do NOT disclose is the cost for one of their age reversing pills. And now back to my prescient poetry...here comes prophetic verse. title - 'sorry and get ready' a pharmaceutical research genius guy in collaboration with the brilliant clinical physician announced today their coordinated efforts had produced an amazing breakthrough it's the one stop one time cure for everything from the moderately debilitating to the horrendously deadly this pill will end all human suffering completely unfortunately it is cost prohibitive and the pill can only be had by the truly wealthy so for everyone else well... sorry and get ready to die how about that. now for Wednesday machine art... break - fantasy - violins - glamour - look - th...

Still Screaming Hot

We live under a 'heat dome' and we'll be living under that 'heat dome' for the next while. Ain't not a dang thing can be done about that. It seems to be the new "normal." Well...yippee! Humanity had a chance to do something about global climate change about 75 years ago. Probably before that. Did humanity do anything to remediate climate change? Hell NO! We live with the consequences and will for the duration of human kind. That duration might not be for much longer. The Planet Earth will become to freaking hot, every living thing will wilt under extreme temperatures, AND our oceans will slowly evolve into toxic sludge. Happy Tuesday anyone left out there that might be paying even the slightest bit of attention. Oh yes and there is no escape from the Planet of the Idiots. Now for our humble Tuesday machine art. convex - it took a village - love in an afternoon - annie green springs - poly - our Planet's humanity has grown so accustomed to litteri...

It's Hot.,.It's Damn Hot!

Reporting live from Mojave Desert Center - it's hot. It's damn hot. In this here slice of the Mojave Desert, we hit 116 degrees Fahrenheit. The ambient air temperature isn't quite so bad ON ACCOUNT OF the ambient air humidity is 1%. Don't get me wrong here, it's damn hot and you'll be wise to stay indoors and plop your tookas in front of the air conditioning. It's the scant ambient air humidity that's the real danger. The air will suck the moisture out of your body faster than you can imagine. People have been found out in the great wide open desiccated and dried to a crisp after about twenty minutes. Personally, I don't mind the heat and come about September the weather is ever so comfortable. Now for Monday machine art. Striking actors can suck it. 60's - israel - sad eh - cos-ring - transition - carefully - max headroom - scythe - I had to do a little housekeeping so...lots and lots of machined works of artistry. yeah so whatever. 😏

With today being Sunday, why not? Why not express an utter loathing for all things religious. You see I can do that AS way back in the day, I mean a way way back in the day I was in training for the "ministry." Theology studies and preaching class and supercilious hypocrisy and 1970's young ladies. Those 1970's young ladies proved to be a stumbling block and combined with really gullible yet ignorant souls, that mess proved to be problematic to say the least. I was declared "apostate" and politely commanded to get the fuck gone and don't come back. In the years since, I've had time to clear my head, get myself straight, and become quite cynical concerning religion. Or faith. Whatever. Cynical is a bit of an understatement. A compelling if not comprehensive disdain is probably closer to my actual feelings concerning religion, religious folk, and especially those thoroughly fucked up evangelicals. In sharing a truly deep rooted surmise about 'eva...
