You Know There's Big Trouble When ...
Two of the really big stars of NFL broadcasting are splitting the sheets. Yep there's acrimony in the broadcast booth and viewers will, after this season ends with the 'super duper bowl' in 2027, no longer be able to see ESPN's Buck and Aikman working together. Oh please Mr Music tells us what's happened. Alrighty then here's the 411. Money. Isn't that the way of just about everything these days ... money. You see, Joe Buck's contract with ESPN was evidently up for a renewal which in actual real time terms ... ESPN will now have to dig deep into corporate pockets and cough up seriously big bucks to ladle over Joe Buck. Get it ...? Big Bucks for Buck. Good old Joe gots him a six year contract extension to the tune of $100 million + US dollars and Aikman got nada. Aikman's contract is up as well and Aikman being a former super duper bowl winner and Joe Buck sidekick, well, Aikman isn't worth no $100 million dollars +. Aikman opted to let his contract with the cheapskates at ESPN expire on it's expiration date and QB Aikman will seek comfort in some other venues arms. NFL broadcasters will be throwing numbers at Aikman to win his football wisdom and those numbers will be astoundingly large. Really huge. CBS is looking for a big name footballer to sit opposite Jim Nance in the CBS booth and no doubt CBS will put up a whale of an offer for Aikman. There is also the NFL Football cable channel but there isn't the kind of money there that might attract Aikman. There are also rumors of a NFL team going after Aikman for a front office cushy job and NFL teams are rolling in the big money thanks to Roger 'the dodger' Goodell so there is the possibility of that on the football horizon. For Aikman the future is ever so green. So now you have all you need to know about why Buck and Aikman won't be together in the broadcast booth for much longer. Both are under contract with ESPN through the end of NFL season 2026/superbowl 2027 and then it's all over for Buck v Aikman. Public celebrity divorces are always so much fun to watch. Couples that have been together for years are suddenly airing one another's dirty laundry and petty ass jealousies and dang if'n that ain't about one hilariously good time. For those of us outside the declared war zones. If there was ever bonhomie between Buck and Aikman, well, those days are long gone. Aikman didn't get an eye popping armored truck filled with cash offer and that hurt Aikman's feelings. Don't you just hate to see grown millionaires scratching at each others eyes over petty shit like money. Hmmm, should we maybe have a chat about trumpf, congress, and the Epstein Files ... ? Nah why fuck up a good cat fight with celebrities for bullshit like the trumpf regime. Now for Friday machine art
