Two Weeks From Tuesday + Some Days

There are 17 days until first Tuesday in November. The horrifyingly anticipated "midterm elections" is drawing closer and closer and dang if'n the shit isn't starting to fly fast and furious. Candidates are turning uglier by the minute and threats of physical violence are ominously creeping into otherwise almost normal discussion between the blues and the reds. Just so there's no blowback for picking one color over another, I went alphabetically. Seems theoretically plausible. Senate candidate debates are verbally heated, congressional debates are ridiculously accusatory, governor debates are part comedy part drama and mostly political bullshit. Mayoral candidates are in the mix and county officials are up for the vote and in Nevada, every dang last judge to sit on a Clark County bench is up for a vote. I'd be willing to bet that just about no one living in Clark County knows who all these judges might be. Two full pages of balloting midterm election and I could not tell you who even one of these judges might be. Possibly shameful on my part but I try my very human best to avoid judges and courtrooms as if those places and judicial types were verboten. I've been there and did that once in my life and I swore a sacred blood vow to never, oh no ever, do shit like that again. Judges hold your very life in the palms of their judicial hands and that is not a spot one would willingly want to be in. I've seen big burly manly men break down and cry like little children after appearing in a judge's courtroom. I saw a guy had himself a bit of an attitude prior to making his courtroom appearance and when the guy returned to the holding tank he was pale as the ghost of Phil Specter ... the guy's judge sent the guy straight to prison from the courtroom and there is a very important lesson to be learned here ... DO NOT EVER try running an attitude on a judge when your fate and life are in that judge's hands. A sitting judge can fuck your life up like you will not ever want to know how a judge can do that. Judges can and do just about every day of the week. So between today, whatever day it may in fact be, and the first Tuesday in November 2026 your every waking television moment will be jam packed tight with political ads that range from mildly offensive to outright fraudulent deception meant to separate you from any reasoned vote and of course the future of your wallet. Or handbag whichever the bag may be. I'm not worried about any of that in the least. We got rid of our television and that is no bullshit. We do not television anymore and life seems somehow a little less annoying. Now for Saturday machine art.

there is so much money being spent on this cycle of midterm elections that the national debt could be reduced by possibly one half ... and that's in the trillions of dollars category ... 😐
