 May Day May Day ... the American ship of state is going down. Damaged almost beyond repair and/or salvage ... courtesy of one Precedent Bullshit Dementia J. trump. Yes friends we are going down and there is NO rescue in sight and that all in and of itself is some scary shit. Under anything close to normal circumstances, Congress would be all up in Precedent Bullshit's ass as would the Supremes and of course media journalism. But no and not any longer. Institutions that have long championed our America as being the 'light of democracy' in our world are shuttered and closed for the foreseeable future. Pity no doubt. Mainstream media the print media and television media, laid down like whipped dogs and gave in to the dictatorial whining of Precedent Bullshit and so any resistance to this current insanity is left to a ragtag collective of leftists, old militants, Antifa types, and the web. I would include myself in that 'ragtag collective' description as I am certainly an old militant and still cling to my freak flag as if my life depended on it. So 100 days in on the trump shitshow and our future at best looks bleak. Sad to report and goddamn sorry to admit. 'We the people' are for the most part ass out and so it goes. my wife informed me that on Wednesday early afternoon there was a guy, a stranger, taking photos of our condo. that brought back all the joy and excitement of the Bushco days of war criminality and national paranoia resulting from 9/11 and the madness that ensued. oh christ ... not this shit again. it was not pleasant a shade more than 20 years ago and it sure as hell isn't pleasant today. fuck the police! struck a chord back then and strikes a clarion bell today. 😐
