I've always wanted to see Maui. That visit has never happened for any number of reasons. Probably the foremost reason is money. A visit to Maui is not exactly cheap nor affordable for everyone. The money thing is by design. Anyway, with Maui's west end burned to a horrific crisp any visit to Maui is gonna have to wait. For quite sometime I do believe. The devastation is a hard thing to see and I'm not in anyway involved. With paradise an ideal dream, I've always thought that Maui was there for all the world to see. Not any more. Paradise burned to the ground. Go figure.

the single most telling video of Lahaina on fire was taken from an airplane on approach to Maui. the whole of Lahaina is burning. everywhere. damnation! 😐
