 Hizzoner Giuliani got his ass smacked hard by a federal judge in Georgia. The State of Georgia. You see Giuliani slandered two State of Georgia election workers that were doing the job of counting cast Georgia ballots back in the 2020 elections. Giuliani reportedly was telling anyone that would listen the women were "substituting fake thumb drives that contained fraudulent ballots cast for Biden and thereby robbed Trump of an election win in the State of Georgia." Turns out good old 'hizzoner' was a lying sack of fish guts and the federal judge in Georgia gave the two election workers a summary judgment against Giuliani and now the case goes to trial to determine the damages Giuliani MUST fork over to the two slandered Georgia election workers. Giuliani had to put his posh New York City condo apartment on the market for a cool $6 million dollars on account of the dumb ass is a mite short on liquid capital and his legal fees alone will send him to the homeless camps. I'm sure Giuliani will be most welcome by all the homeless folk that will surely turn out to greet him. In other political episodes, Mitch McConnell a republican treasonous old goof had himself another seizure and had to be "escorted away" by fellow republican treasonous vermin and this happened in Kanetucky in front of all the local Kanetuckeans and McConnell will probably need a long rest and be put out to pasture. Bye bye Itchy Brother and we'll most likely not miss yee a wee bit not. America might just get to see old McConnell stroke out on live tv. I find it curious that the Republican Party of open treason would raise a ruckus over President Joe's age and here's the 'senior republican senator from Kanetucky' going all seizure-like for the world to watch and poke fun at. Adventures In Frustration

 Friday afternoon last has passed into history's dustbin and, we had a sewer malfunction of a vegan nature. By 'vegan' I mean it was a tree root what clogged the sewer line. Dang tree roots anyway. Now for the all important facts ma'am nothing but the facts. Thank you Joe Friday. You have to set the wayback to the 1960's for a Joe Friday reference. Anyway, since Friday afternoon last we've been without water. Can't use the sinks, showers, toilets, and if that don't about suck, well, I can't advise you as to what might. So seeing as how we live in the northeast entrance to the Mojave Desert, getting a professional grade plumbing service is damn near nonexistent. Now that Tuesday is dawning on another day without available water for washing, showering, using the crapper, and stuff like that there...we are without. We are in every sense of the situation simpatico with the good people of Lahaina, Maui. While we still have a roof over our heads but being without water, simpatico can be stretched to make a point. However with today being Tuesday, and the very last Tuesday in the month of August, let us have Tuesday machine art. Oh yeah...

The Very Last One

 Monday August 28, 2023...the very last Monday in the month of August. I don't really care for the month of August, it's hot and has been hot for days. We received not much in the way of monsoon for 2023 and that only extended the number of days that it was freaking hot. Some would say, well, why do you live in the Mojave Desert? My only response would be why not? Winters are wonderful in the northeast entrance to the Mojave Desert and that makes life here unbelievably wondrous. Barbecue on Xmas Day no less and that is not so very far off. Xmas not barbecue. One week from today is Labor Day and summer is quasi-officially over. The children are already back in school. High school football is well underway and that leaves Mojave parents almost giddy with anticipation. I sort of forgot Sara's birthday so here's a belated happy birthday to you.  Just when folks thought the last weekend in August would be quiet if not summertime warm, well, let the gunfire commence and do your best to duck and cover. 'Shelter in place'. "GUN!!!" Florida, Pennsylvania, and numerous other states found themselves at the heart of police investigations with casualties. America seems to be perfectly comfortable with gun violence and casualties. Of course America's morticians and cemeteries are seeing a boom time for laying the dead to rest. The dead can rest in peace while everyone else is left to pick up the shattered pieces of lives lost. Senselessly lost. The last week of August 2023 is off to a bang up start. Sunday machine art is up right about now.

Presidential Mugshot

 If you've ever had the misfortune to have a mugshot taken, well, a mugshot is not a badge of honor. A mugshot by definition is the identifier used by law enforcement to have a permanent record of your likeness for future reference. I do believe that any mugshot taken goes to the F.B.I. to keep in F.B.I. files for reference just like fingerprints. I'm on file with the F.B.I. and I'm in no way proud or even close to happy about that. By the way, the F.B.I. has both my mugshots and fingerprints on file. I've had several mugshots taken. Being an on the run criminal addict does tend to take a toll on your likeness. Anyway, trump had a mugshot taken when he was booked into Atlanta's Fulton County Jail on Thursday late afternoon and this mugshot was a mugshot fitting for any criminal asshole in the running for presidential office. Trump being the narcissistic prick that he is seems to think this mugshot will make a fine campaign poster. Only a trump could find this misadventure a good thing. Trump is starting to rack up some potentially serious prison time if convicted on only about half the indictments he's charged with. Trump's two favorite jailhouse groupees, one Marjorie Taylor-Greene and one Sarah Palin (Sarah Palin? of the failed like a lame horse vice-presidential candidate that Sarah Palin?) are prattling on and on about "civil war." MTG and the now divorced Palin both go to the same fish pedicurist in Encino. You've got to feel badly for those fishes. One fish says to another fish..."we've got to clean THOSE feet?!?" Pity that. Did You Know...

 Did you know that our entire quantum universe exists inside a single atom? Well and according to the 'bigthink.com' webpage we're all living inside a single atom, somewhere and, inside this single atom lives another single atom and inside this single atom lives another entire quantum universe and so on and so on and on and on and...Suffice it to say this all grows eerily tedious if not ridiculous to the point of the absurd. However, there are sign posts along the highly trafficked universe inside a universe inside blah blah blah AND if you're paying close attention to these sign posts you'll discover where to turn left at the next light so as to arrive at the Restaurant At The End Of The Universe. R.I.P Mr. Douglas Adams. Mr. Adams is about my most favorite author of all time and Mr. Douglas Adams would appreciate the hilarity of the bigthink.com article. The silly dang physicists are going to very soon quantum themselves right out of our subatomic universe and no one will even notice. Hollywood movie guys, if they ever come to terms to end their strike and make both sides happy, will have a field day with the entire quantum universe existing inside a single atom hypothesis. Yes all this bluster is purely hypothetical. So if you happen to personally know a particle physicist, well, keep a close eye on the aforementioned physicist as he or she might just disappear right before your very eyes. A Mercenary Died For Your Sins

 Yes my friends, the Russian guy that upset the bejeepers out of Vlad 'the merciless' Putin has died in a mysterious plane crash after that plane was hit with a Russian heatseeking missile. The Russian news folk even had a news break to inform our postmodern world of that very "mysterious" crash. The mercenary boss guy that goes by the name of Yevgeny Prigozhin and is/was the "leader" of the mercenary army called the 'Wagner Group', is pronounced dead HOWEVER there is no actual physical evidence as to Prigozhin being cacked. All we have is the Russian media's word for that. Alrighty then. Prigozhin is/was one brutally busy el generalissimo supremo of the mercenary kind and prior to his turning his band of merry mercenaries on Putin's Russia, the Wagner Group was slaughtering men, women, and children in Ukraine and in Africa. Where in Africa the Wagner Group was killing men, women, and children needs further research for accuracy and stuff like that there. You know, body counts and photographs taken by AP war photographers, and eyewitness accounts of atrocity and IF Prigozhen is actually dead, well, our world just might be a little safer this fine Thursday evening. Provided reports leaking from behind the Iron Curtain are in fact, accurate. See what I did there? I used the cold war term for Russia back when Russia was in fact the Soviet Union. U.S.S.R. Union of Soviet Socialist Republic. Republics? Whatever. Anyway, the Wagner Group boss guy may in fact be dead, Vlad 'the merciless' Putin is alive, AND the war of naked aggression by Russia on Ukraine rages on with no end in sight. I'm thinking that about right now, the Ukraine girls will simply shoot your lights out and that will be the end of that.  So there's this article on the Google Science News page and the eye-catcher states some blah blah blah about "lognormal...". "What the hell...???" I said to myself knowing full well there's not a soul listening to anything I might blurt out in complete if not utter surprise. The webpage that the Google Science News page is heralding would be 'neuroscience news.com'. I know right... I had to google up a translation for "lognormal" and I discovered that "lognormal" is (I copied the paragraph) and am now about to paste the google response to my query... 

"In probability theory, a log-normal distribution is a continuous probability distribution of a random variable whose logarithm is normally distributed."

Probability theory...alrighty then. It is entire possible that any "possibility theory" is merely theoretical and more than likely a dump truck load of ridiculous. A dump truck load of ridiculous is entirely possible and is therefore more than "theoretical." So there you have it.
