The United States beat Iran in a much heralded World Cup soccer match on Tuesday November 29, 2022. If one is given to believing meaningless drivel pouring from the mainstream media bozos, the match was some manner of conclusive evidence that Iran has been humiliated on the world stage. I'm not certain how the mainstream media reached such a blanket pronouncement and coverage was just about a national phenomena with headlines reading..."U.S. 'trounces' Iran." The U.S. beat Iran by a score of 1-0. How a final score such as that merits a "trouncing" is not explained. It's soccer so...yawn!!! The U.S. managed to squeak their way into the "knock out round of 16." It's soccer so...yawn again. Current events and troubles plaguing Iran have not very much to do with soccer. However, the U.S. will make a soccer mountain out of a not so stellar shutout of the Iranians. The final score was 1-0. With the World Cup soccer crap-o-la being played out in Qatar, the Qatar camel beauty contest may have been more exciting than World Cup soccer. The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football and that game didn't rate any national headlines except for maybe in Philly and/or Green Bay. Green Bay is in Wisconsin the land of cheese heads and freaking dang winter cold. So...there you go. Priorities are important? Soccer is NOT a priority and not by a long shot on goal.
