protesters in Portland (that would be Oregon and not Maine) tore down statues of Teddy Roosevelt and Abe Lincoln. on account of today being 'Columbus Day'. I can sort of understand some ire being directed at Teddy Roosevelt as old Teddy liked killing animals. all sorts of different species of animals. then Teddy would have them stuffed and mounted. that is a part of "hunting" I've never been able to understand. it isn't bad enough that the nimrods have to take an animals life but to take it's skin? the nimrods aren't even eating what they hunt and then kill. oh hell no. the nimrods kill animals for their horns and skin and feets and ears and good god ahmighty, that's just sick and wrong on any number of points to be made. the protesters did this for 'Columbus Day'? sorry but, I don't get the connection. as for honest Abe, well he did "save the Union" and freed the slaves and this is the thanks the man gets for all the aggravation he had to put up with. sorry but, I don't get the connection between Abe Lincoln and Christopher Columbus. Abe didn't discover Amerika but neither did Columbus. Columbus "discovered" Cuba. Fidel never made much mention of that little anomaly. I think the protesters in Portland and that would be Oregon and not Maine, just like tearing down statues. Doesn't really much matter whom the statue is paying honor to. doesn't really have to make any sense at all. the protesters just tear down shit to be tearing down shit. to be fair, I could suppose the protesters are making a point. what that point might be is just a wee bit elusive. unless and of course the protesters are working secretly for some non-disclosed statue works. wow, it's another conspiracy theory for the qAnon folks to get all schizophrenic about. exactly three weeks from tomorrow. tomorrow happens to be Tuesday. so we've got us exactly three weeks from Tuesday until the really big showdown at the election polling places. well and unless you've already filled out your ballot on account of some previously unnamed County Clerk had sent you a ballot to be filled out and then returned by mail. that is IF you can trust the U.S.P.S.. which back in the day, the U.S.P.S. was never an issue. they could be trusted implicitly. well that trusted horse has left the barn. thanks to trump. god ahmighty, trump is an asshole! should trump lose the upcoming election, trump WILL blame the Postal Service for his lost cause. yeah, it'll be the Post Office's fault. oh well, go out and tear something down on account of today being 'Columbus Day'. right. remembering that Abe Lincoln freed the slaves and saved our Union and that really pisses off the protesters in Portland and yes one more time, that would be Oregon and not Maine. on to the point of all this. machine art and stuff!
