Fossil hunters in New Zealand have discovered the fossil remains of a penguin that tipped the fossil scales at 340 lbs. That is one giant penguin. New Zealand paleontologists made their discovery known in a recent edition of the Journal of Paleontology. I am the proud owner of mammoth vertebrae. just one. an entire mammoth fossil could prove problematic. where would you house an entire mammoth fossil? short answer would be a museum. 😉
