The United States House of Representatives has begun a new session. That happens after every congressional election which happens every two years. Anyway, the House is in disarray and the Republican'ts can't seem to elect a Speaker of the House which is the prerogative of the majority political party. Electing a Speaker of the House. The Republican'ts hold a nine seat majority. Slim and dang slim at that. Anyway once more, the majority party held three rounds of voting for Speaker of the House. Kevin McCarthy (Retarded - Calif) of California's 20th District thought he was a shoe-in for Speaker. Well his very own party figured otherwise and after three rounds of House majority voting, McCarthy couldn't garner enough votes to obtain the Speaker position. Turns out a Democrat, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York, garnered more votes than McCarthy. That is absolutely hilarious. Congress in general and the House specifically has been absolutely FUBAR for a damn long time now. By the way, FUBAR is a military acronym for "fucked up beyond all recognition." That my friends is America's legislative branch of federal government. Yes...we are all of us absolutely screwed.
