A six year old student shot a teacher at school on Friday afternoon January 6, 2023. The six year old used a pistol to shoot a teacher. How, where, and why does a six year old carry a pistol to shoot a teacher? Where does a six year old get hold of a loaded pistol? Short answer to that rhetorically posed question would be from daddy's pistol drawer where else. Or possibly, mom's. The teacher sustained a quite serious wound and required being hospitalized for surgery and recovery in an ICU hospital room. A six year old did this. This happened in Newport News, Virginia. Monday Night's football game (January 2, 2023) featuring the Buffalo Bills facing the Cincinnati Bengals and a Bills player collapsed on field after making a touchdown saving tackle. Bills player got up took a couple of steps and collapsed on field and needed immediate medical attention and personnel to CPR the player and then player is taken by ambulance to a Cincinnati hospital where the player was placed in the ICU and was in a medically induced coma for the better part of the week and is now showing signs of being well on his way to a full recovery. America's media outlets highlighted the football player's injury almost non stop all week long and that injury was highlighted through Saturday's football games and not one word was mentioned about the teacher that had been shot and hospitalized by a six year old and not one goddamned word about that. America certainly has the "important" things down pat. Down for a Speaker of the House vote. I'm certainly not casting any shade on the injured Bills player nor would I cast any shade on his injury. By American standards a teacher that has been shot by a six year old is one thing. A NFL football player that had a coronary incident on field is most certainly another. Teacher shot and most assuredly critically wounded gets a... meh. A NFL player collapses after a coronary incident on field during play...well holy shit...let the entire goddamn nation come together in prayer and cash donations are welcome with American media harping about the player's status all the fucking week long and well into Saturday's coverage of football. Yes my friends America has its priorities and a six year old shooting his teacher is NOT a priority. Oh yes and the teacher shot by the six year old received NO donations whatsoever. Now for that Sunday machine art. Machine art will always follow any verbal screed I may in fact pound out on my keyboard. Priorities, priorities are always what is priority.
