Well maybe not yet. However. Aaron Judge, a Yankee player, broke a long standing Roger Maris record of 61 home runs in a single season playing for the Yanks back in 1961. Roger Maris set the record back in '61. Maris hit 61 home runs and set the mark that has stood for a dang long time. Aaron Judge plays outfield for the New York Yankees an American League team and possibly the best baseball team...ever and yes the Yankees have clinched their respective division in the American League East. Now there have been "other players" that racked up homers that supposedly broke Roger Maris' record of 61 homers. HOWEVER those fucking cheats were doped up on steroids and the homers hit by the notorious three don't amount to more than squat. By way of disclaimer, I am a just about lifelong Yankees fan and I can say that proudly. I got to witness Roger Maris set his home run record and I've been lucky enough to watch Judge break the Maris record. A Yankees held the record for years and another Yankee has broke the old record. One thing can be said about baseball, there might be a world of misery all around the globe and still there is baseball that holds a distinct American attraction from all that usual misery. Now for some machine art and go Yanks!
