 Dateline London - anti big oil protesters tossed tomato soup on a Van Gogh painting that hangs in a London museum. After tossing tomato soup on the Van Gogh, the idiots glued themselves to the paintings frame. Don't get me wrong here, I'm very supportive of protesting big oil and big corporation bullshit and have been for a very long time. That being stated, what the "activists" did was egregiously stupid. A Van Gogh painting? That little stunt did nothing more than prove to the world that activists of all types and shadings are more then a mite dumb ass and wildly out of touch with whatever their movement is trying to get our world to do. Or stop doing. Tomato soup on a Van Gogh painting? Fucking stupid!!! IF the Just Stop Oil movement wants to make a daring and bold statement, toss tomato soup on the doors of British Petroleum. If they happen to hit one of BP's corporate kingpins, well, that would be icing on a tomato soup cake. Target Number 10 Downing Street. Target Buckingham Palace. Target the corporate headquarters of Chevron/Texaco. Target WallStreet whomever. Target Dutch Royal Shell then dump gallons of tomato soup into the Netherlands canals.
