Friday!

Friday and that just about says it all. Or not. Did you know that today is Abe Lincoln's birthday. Oh yes it is. Back in the day, Lincoln's birthday was a federal holiday and most states complied with the day's celebration. Now days it's a 'Presidents Day Birthday Sale' and you can go out and buy yourself a new bed or new car or new carpet or a tummy tuck or face lift or botox for your wrinkles or just about whatever a person's heart might desire. Of course 'Presidents Day' is Monday and that would be the day after Valentines Day and if you count those Gregorian calendar days, the day will be the 15th of February. Did you know that the proper pronunciation for February is feb-rue-airy. Of course had one been paying any attention to 7th grade grammar class, well, you'd know that. Or maybe not. 7th grade grammar class was one of those bore you to tears endurance runs and if you barely passed the class with a D- you were home safe. Safe enough. I was of course one of "those." Grammar matters not so much. Ain't that about a shame. Not. Anyway Happy Birthday Abraham Lincoln and happy Friday to everyone. Now go out and have yourselves a good time. Being mindful of those ever so annoying Covid-19 rules and regulations for wearing a stylish if not fashionable mask and for hell sakes mind your social distance. The Covid-19 variants are worse than the original Covid-19. Maybe we should start making plans for where to plant the body after the Covid-19 has done it's worst. None of that for me thank you very much. I'll do the cremation gig and get ready for an afterlife of unknown circumstance. Seeing as how there are loads more people that have taken the ride to the other side, what might come next is a crap shoot at best and nobody has any idea of what comes after this life is history and so we're back to where this all began. One more time...Happy Birthday Abe! Now for some machine art dedicated to Abe.

Utah County in the State of Utah is giving away free Covid19 vaccine shots and you don't even need to be a resident of Utah County. Get some while you still can.:]
