Some excitement in Bellevue, Washington that has nothing to do with weather. Bellevue PD was called by authorities from the National Museum of the US Air Force and that's close to Dayton, Ohio and the military guys informed the Bellevue PD that they had been in contact with a gentleman from Bellevue and the guy wanted to know if the museum would like to have a nuclear weapon that the guy had in his garage. Bellevue PD stated they would "check things out ASAP." So it turns out the Bellevue guy had a "Douglas AIR-2 Genie (previous designation MB-1), an unguided air-to-air rocket that is designed to carry a 1.5 kt W25 nuclear warhead. However, there was no warhead attached." So ... there ... you ... go. No danger to anyone but, Bellevue PD did make plans to evacuate Bellevue, Washington. You know, just in case. Evidently the 'nuke in his garage guy' had bought the nukalar (thanks to Dubya Bush for his forever to be remembered pronunciation of the word 'nuclear') missile at an estate sale and there was no mention made of where the original (?) "owner of missile" had acquired the weapon. Once again, Bellevue, Washington was in NO danger of being vaporized. Well ... that's a relief. Great story though. Now for our Monday machine artistry and we are off and running now.

I can image nuke in his garage guy had a conversation with his wife that went something like this ... "honey? can I keep this in the front room? wife replied ... not on your life ... " yup and almost word for word. 😏
