Mundane Media Symposium

The first week of February draws to a close and, well, there you go. Media accounting of Israeli atrocities is for the most part, nonexistent. Journalists stand on the sidelines watching horror after genocidal horror washing over Gaza and the West Bank. Israeli censors declare, "nothing to see here ... move it along." Fait Accompli. Presidential election bullshit is already at a fever pitch and we're just at the early stages of 'election 2024'. So what can America do for that not so satisfying and sorely anticipated distraction? Super Bowl 58 that's what. American's will have ample supplies of beer, chips, cheese spread, beer, big screen televisions, tailgating soirees, living room brawls, and of course gambling. Bets are made at the local sports book and bets are made with the local bookie, and bets are made amongst friends. Well ... at least there might have been friendships prior to the outcomes on bets made. Cries of "loser" will ring across America as the big game results are finally posted and of course the perquisite gun fire will follow winners and losers being announced. So get your game on, line up the snacks, wipe down the screen of that monster new television purchased specifically for the big game, and everyone shall chant the now famous chorus ... "are you ready for some football?" I shouldn't forget the fact that Super Bowl crap will air almost non stop from today until hours after the big game on Sunday. Remember ... football made America great. Now for our Friday machine art selection.
