Way back in the day ... we had us a rather cheesy if not ridiculous saying for when the weather got really cold. The rather cheesy if not ridiculous saying went like this, "it's colder than a brass monkey's balls in January." Well as things sometimes turn out, it is colder than a brass monkeys balls and it certainly is January. So dang cold that the gloriously esteemed NFL has had to delay playoff games, send player warmers to Kansas City as the Miami Dolphins guys literally froze their asses off playing in the Chiefs vs Dolphins playoff game on Saturday night. The ambient air temperature at game time in Kansas City was -6 degrees Fahrenheit and that didn't factor in the wind chill. According to the weather pros, the wind chill chimed in at a staggeringly dang cold -27 degrees Fahrenheit and holy freaking frozen spirits of playoff games past ... that is some seriously cold playing conditions. However and with all the weather blah blah blah being blah blah blahed, Taylor Swift gave the Kansas City fans a heart warming wave from Ms. Swift's comfortably warm and luxury box suite and that made all the Kansas City Fans giddy with fawning admiration. Isn't that simply special? Well of course it is. Now for some Monday machine art and to tell the truth, I'm sitting comfortably warm in front of the old desktop and weathering the frigid Mojave Desert winter cold. Yeah it's been a struggle no doubt. Yesterday's temperature according to the weather device that I keep charged up and accurate to the nth degree, well, the temperature read out said 60 degrees and that is of course Fahrenheit. Yeah, some dang tough winter crap-o-la for sure.

to a nation freezing to death and local power providers making rolling blackouts the new normal in one hellacious winter freeze, hang in there kids cause it won't be long and spring shall spring eternal and warm shall in fact return to the Northern Hemisphere. that is my theory for now and by god I'm gonna stick to it. 😏
